OLYMPIC TORCH CEREMONY PERFORMANCE
DECEMBER 17th 2009

Hundreds of dancers from the top studios in Canada auditioned for a placement on the Olympic Dance Team for it's performance this past December. SWS's Senior dancer Angela Casalino was one of very few chosen for this special event! Dance styles such as jazz, tap, step dance and percussion were performed at the event by the team. An audience of thousands came out to see the ceremony that was held just outside the Markham theatre on December 17th. Artistic Directors Amanda and Sasha made it out to the ceremony and were thrilled at Angela's involvement and performance.
