
Courtney Morgan
Teachers Assistant
Courtney Morgan has been dancing for 14 years. She began ballet and tap at the age of 3 at "Sandra’s Dance Studio" in Markham, Ontario, under the direction of Sandra Amodeo. At the age of 6, she began competing in all disciplines of dance across Ontario and the United States.
In 2004, Courtney began to train with "Theatre Dance Academy" where she was a member of their competitive team for 3 years.
In 2007, Courtney decided to pursue her dance training in a program that would push her to new limits and joined Step with Style Dance Productions. Under the direction of Amanda Coatham and Alexander Chifman, Courtney has been recognized as an award winning soloist and group dancer. As a member of the Triple Threat Competitive team, Courtney has excelled in all areas of dance winning numerous special awards, overall awards and adjudicator’s choice awards.
In 2009, Courtney was honored to be selected by Mandy Moore, choreographer of "So You Think You Can Dance, USA" to perform a competitive Contemporary routine.
Courtney is enrolled in the "Performance Arts" program at her high school, where she was selected and competes as a member of the Dance Team.
In addition to her love of dance, Courtney has enjoyed modeling in numerous fashion shows, and has made television appearances on various programs including, "The Jessica Holmes Show", and "Happy Town".
Courtney is very excited to be assisting with the competitive program this season. She looks forward to sharing her love of dance with other students and hopes to inspire them to work hard, and achieve their goals, as they Step with Style!
