Jessica Bellows -
Acro, Jazz, Hip Hop & Tap Instructor
Jessica started gymnastics training at the age of 6 with Gemini Gymnastics Club in Oshawa, where she trained with certified coaches under the direction of Elena Davydova (1980 Olympic Overall Gold Medalist in Gymnastics).
Due to her dedication, strength and abilities she moved quickly to Gemini's competitive provincial program. Jessica has won numerous 1st place awards while consistently placing in the top 3 at competitions.
In 2003 Jessica received a silver medal for her beam routine at The Ontario Provincial Championships and placed 8th overall (bars, vault, floor and beam) out of 70 competitors.
In 2005, Jessica retired from Gymnastics and entered the world of dance. Jessica started her dance career at Janice Lynn School of Dance, where she studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and acro. In her first year she auditioned and made the competitive dance team. Her skills and love of gymnastics brought a renewed excitement to the acro program at the studio. Jessica studied the British Association of Teachers of Dance where she received honours on her exams.
In 2007, Jessica joined Step With Style Dance Productions. She is very happy to be at Step With Style, and continues to train under the direction of Amanda Coatham and Alexander Chifman. The programs offered at SWS have helped her progress and grow to become a well rounded dancer and instructor. Jessica has had the opportunity to perform in groups that have won numerous special wards, overall awards as well as choreographer's awards and now works along side Artistic Director Amanda Coatham to create some of the most creative routines judges have seen!
"I look forward to meeting all of my new and returning students! Come and have some fun!" Jessica Bellows
