Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop Instructor
Kristen Morgan is a dancer, instructor, choreographer in the Durham Region whose life has revolved around dance since she was a young child.
In the past her training has taken her through dance schools such as, Heartbeat of Dance and Rhythm Dynamics, where as a young dancer she
was recognized with improvisation awards and countless placements for her routines.
Upon attending the Coastal Dance Rage workshop she enjoyed her time with instructors Blake McGrath, Shane Sparks and Mia Michaels of which all continue to inspire her.
Kristen took her final steps to completing her training by joining the Step with Style Dance Productions competitive team. S.W.S. gave Kristen a triple threat education including; Ballet (Vaganova-Russian syllabus), Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pointe, Acro, Musical Theatre, Vocal and Drama. It was at Step with Style Kristen became an award winning dancer earning scholarships, overall awards and scores ranking Platinum!
Kristen majored in dance and music while attending O’Neill Colligate and Vocational Institute which has allowed her to thrive in her teachings and understanding of all dance forms and music.
Although Kristen has been an award winning competitive dancer through her years of training, her passion lies with the art of teaching. Her chosen career, Kristen has enjoyed working with students of all ages from 2 years old right through to adult levels. Ms. Morgan is an unbelievable teacher who focuses first on finding the students special talent and drawing it out so they can grow into strong and confident performers. Her caring and compassionate teaching methods make every student feel important.
