Student Patrick Derry Wins Scholarship to L. A.

Patrick Derry entered his self choreographed solo in the Extreme dance convention/competition March 15th 2008.
We are very proud to announce that Patricks' choreography as well as his dance training gave him the edge needed to win first place as well as the first overall solo award with a mark of 93.2! In addition to these awards Patrick was chosen for the L. A. scholarship.
This scholarship entitles him to compete in the finals in L. A. this summer. This is Patricks' second scholarship that he has won to L. A. Last season he was fortunate to win the Be Discovered scholarship where he trained with instructors and choreographers from the hit television series 'So You Think You Can Dance!'
