Showcase - May 30th, 2008

Our entire competitive team had the chance to try their routines out on stage March 30 before heading off to their competitions. Over 300 friends, family and visitors came out to support the ever growing SWS team! For some dancers it was their first performance as a competitive dancer... and for some it was the beginning of another great year of competitive dance memories!

No matter what age the audience thoroughly enjoyed the show as there truly was something for everyone! The showcase was held at Bowmanville High School and was arranged in a way that all Junior routines were in the first act so they could learn from the intermediates and seniors as they watched the second and third act that consisted of only inters and seniors. This worked both ways as the Seniors and Inters got to watch the first act and cheered for all the members of their Junior team! SWS is known for its team environment. We are a big family and are so proud of everyone for their supportive attitudes!

A special thank you to all of the parents who participated in the Canteen fundraiser for our new location. Thank you all so very much! With your help the studio was able to raise $1000 towards our custom built sprung and Rosco covered floors at our new location that will soon be opening. THANK YOU!
