Step with Style Recreational Program
Our recreational program is designed for students of all ages to enjoy and flourish in the dance forms they love. *Water and snack breaks will be given between classes. Click on the age group to download the program schedule. (Tentative Schedule for the 2009 - 2010 Dance Season, Program schedules are subject to change due to registration demands)
Recreational dancers ages 2-3yrs are provided with half hour classes. It is best to keep the 2-3yrs classes short as young ones attention spans only last for a short period of time.
Recreational dancers ages 4-5yrs are placed in 45 min classes, and recreational dancers ages 6 and up are placed in hour long classes.

Pre Competitive (Ages 5 - 8) - JOIN THIS SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM!
This level has been incredibly successful in our past seasons!Because of the increasing interest in our award winning competitive team Step with Style now has a program to introduce young dancers into the competitive atmosphere to see if it is compatible for them and their families before entering into competition.
Ages 5-8 yrs can participate with no experience necessary. Dancers in this program are involved in our award winning triple threat training. The Pre Competitive program includes taking classes twice a week (one ballet, one jazz, one tap, one hiphop, and one vocal/drama combination class.)
Having your young dancer involved in this level is a great way to introduce them into the competitive world of dance and to see if it is something your son or daughter would like to pursue. The class sizes are small and dancers enrolled in this program have the same dress code as regular competitive dancers. Although Pre Competitive dancers will not have the commitment of competeing their first year, they are still considered a part of the competitive team and receive all of the perks that regular competitive members have -ie free workshops, free class for a sibling, free stage make up and hair class etc.
All Pre Competitive dancers get to perform in the March showcase as well as the year end recital.
Competitive dance is a wonderful team sport that builds confidence and friendships that last forever. If you would like to give your child the opportunity to try the competitive atmosphere or if your child is wanting to compete already and is between the ages of 5-8yrs, our Pre Competitive program is perfect for you and your family.
We have had many families try this program and all have been thrilled with the results! Whether their child moved into the competitive level or stayed as Pre Competitive the prgress the students and parents have seen is exceptional!

If a dancer decides to take more than one class it is considered a package. The prices of each class decrease as you add more to your package. We do our best at Step with Style to keep prices as low as possible so that children who have a love for dance can take more than one class. See the price chart below for all recreational program prices.
Family Discounts:
Have more then one child in the family? Step with Style will create a discounted program just for you. Just let us know which classes you are interested and will will give you the best price based on number of classes enrolled in total as a family.
Payment Terms
At Step with Style Dance Productions we accept several terms of payment
- You can pay your fees monthly. Each month on the first your payment would be due.
- You can pay your fees in Terms, September 1st, January 1st and April 1st. Your yearly total for classes is split into 3 equal payments with a 2.5% discount applied evenly over the 3 payments.
- You can pay your fees upfront in one Annual Payment due September 1st. Your yearly total for class is calculated and then a 5% discount is taken off.
If registering after September please contact the office so that your payment can be calculated based on remaining classes left in the season.

Location 1: 871 Wilson Road South, Oshawa - View Map! accepts personal cheque*, certified cheque, cash, interac ($0.25 fee applies to each transaction) and Visa/Mastercard (a 3% administration fee applies)
Location 2: 214 King Street East, Oshawa - View Map! accepts person cheque*, certified cheque, and cash. An ATM is onsite for public use.
*Limitations apply. If you plan on using a personal cheque for payment please call the office to ensure that the method is accepted for the transaction.
