JAZZ WORKSHOP with SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE TOP 10 FINALIST JESSICA KING!

Artistic Directors Amanda and Sasha brought Jessica King, So You Think You Can Dance top ten finalist to the studio for an incredible jazz intensive. SWS students, teachers and visitors ages 9-18+yrs had the honour to take class from Jessica. Her passion for dance and boundless energy make her class an exciting experience and as a top ten finalist Jessica is an inspiration for all young aspiring dancers!

Each class Junior Inter and Senior had a separate routine, and many students stayed for both inter and senior levels to learn all that they could from Jessica before her departure. Miss King has taught at many dance schools nationally and has said that she was quite impressed with the quality training our young dancers have at such young ages! Artistic Directors Amanda and Sasha were and are very proud of the students hard work... it is definitely paying off! Thank you to Jessica we hope to see you again soon!

Jessica King - Workshop Instructor

Jessica King spent the first 18 years of her life doodling, twirling, flipping, leaping, singing, sketching, walking on her hands, and writing in her journal. Today, this South Carolina native is an accomplished artist, photographer, dancer, choreographer, and teacher.

For the past year she has had the unique distinction of training and working with Mia Michael's, Mandy Moore, Tyce Diorio, Tabitha and Napoleon, and Wade Robson to name a few. While touring as a Top Ten Finalist from the hit Fox reality television show, “So You Think You Can Dance” she found herself performing, center stage, to audiences all across the country.

This path brings her here today, a seasoned, creative performer, anxious to share her experience with you as she embarks on the next stretch of her journey. (She still writes in a journal.)
