Over the years Step with Style has grown in many beautiful ways.
We pride ourselves on learning as much as we can to move forward with more inclusivity and love each year-Because you can never have enough inclusivity!
Step with Style is a proud supporter and ally of marginalized groups within our society and will continue to show our support to these groups (L.G.B.T.Q.I.A2S+ ,#Blacklivesmatter, Indigenous people and other groups that require their voice to be amplified).
Step with style recognizes that it has played a role in perpetuating stereotypes that persist within the greater dance community and will work to remedy its past by listening and learning to avoid these behaviours in the future. We are committed to creating a space for all dancers, regardless of race, religion, gender expression, sexual orientation, economic status, or ethnic background. We will be the change we wish to see wishing the greater dance community and society at large.

- Dancers are not asked to straighten their hair.
- Dancers are welcome to wear natural skin coloured tights and shoes for ballet.
- No dancer is discriminated for sexual preference.
- Boomerang/waste free program for all snack and lunch times
- Teachers promote Green Initiatives (saving Hydro Ect)
- Cast audition opportunities are open to all!
