Tierni Kessler is successful choreographer and instructor for the SWS staff.
She started dancing at the age of 3 in all genres of dance; Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Acro and many more.
Tierni is a highly skilled dancer and actress. She received training from many reputable establishments over the years, however, Step with Style was the main foundation for her career. This dance studio has brought her many amazing opportunities to work with many amazing choreographers across the world such as: Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Stephanie Rutherford, Caroline Torti, Jade Whitney, Stephen Greig, Blake McGrath, Theresa Howard, Danny Lawn, Tamara Freethy, Devon Perry, Bizzy Boom and many more!
Tierni was very successful in her competitive years. A consistent overall winning soloist, 4 years consecutive winner for Champion soloist at MOVE Dance Competition to name a few.
An incredible competitive performer Tierni was often recognized with scholarships such as: Conteur dance, JUMP dance convention (placing 3rd in the top 5 soloists), FRESH dance intensive & many more!
Tierni’s reputation as a performer has her personally requested by many choreographers & agencies throughout her career thus far. Her performing credits include: Starring in the Sci Fi horror show “The Strain”, backup dancing at concerts for Marlowe & The Mix. Also seen in the music video for the artists song “Life is a Rollercoaster”, assisting at the MOVE dance convention where she was a part of the “MOVEment CREW” and other amazing opportunities & live performances for promotional events and corporate functions.
Tierni has experience instructing ages, walking to adult- Recreational, Part Time as well as Full Time Competitive levels. Due to her leadership Tierni’s students’ are confident on stage, which has brought them great success. Her growing experience, along with her incredible training has made her an excellent instructor/choreographer for young aspiring dancers. Her goal each class is her students will love and enjoy dance as much as she does!
